We are now taking pre-orders for George Looney’s Structures the Wind Sings Through! We expect to have our first shipment back from the printer later this week, and we’ll be celebrating its Columbus release at the 2014 Columbus State Community College Writers Conference Book Fair on Saturday, April 26th. You can find all information about the conference here. Note that George will also be taking part in a conference panel called “What’s the Big Idea? When Poetry and Philosophy Intersect,” along with poet Jeff Gundy and our own Michael Perkins (3:15-4:15 p.m.). George will be available for signing throughout the day.
We have an exciting year coming up. Full/Crescent Press continues to grow!
We expect to make this page a regularly updated blog and will get on that soon. Meanwhile, we continue to tweak the site and announce our newest projects on each new page as they develop. We’re very excited about both The Furcula Project and our newest author, George Looney, who’s Structures the Wind Sings Through will be released this April.
The first really big local launch for both projects will be at the Columbus State Community College Writers Conference where we will once again have a table at the Book Fair. The date for that is April 28, 2014. Michael, Paula, and George will all be among those participating in the conference sessions and final reading–you can check out all the presenters here–and we’ll have copies of The Sudden Seduction of Gravity, Structures the Wind Sings Through, and the new “Furcula” broadside all for sale!
